Easy for the Hand, Easy for the Scientist
Scientist can easily use their pipette hundreds of times in one day, and standard pipettes cancause stress in user's hands. VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes are special in that they have a unique soft-touch plunger system to reduce that harm. This reduction in stress allows users to work more easily, avoid serious injuries, and to perform their work more effectively without accuracy or precision concerns due to hand stress.
VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes soft-touch plunger system features a very light aspiration force users can easily, smoothly, and gently press down on the plunger. The plunger on the VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes can then be softly and controllably be released during aspiration. The same applies to dispensing, despite the added force of liquid in the pipette tip. The levered ejection mechanism also avoids repetitive stress injuries (RSI) by allowing users to easily eject tips without having to press down hard on a stiff ejection system. While these features may seem minor, VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes are designed for repetitive use. Scientists in any lab may need to pipette hundreds of times in day, even in an hour depending on the experiment. VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes are the perfect tool for these spaces where every bit of liquid transfer needs to be accurate and precise.
Even the volume adjustment on VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes is fine-tuned to avoid hand stress. The volume adjustment wheel is located according to typical usage right below the plunger button where users can easily adjust volume without having to reach across the pipette or needing both hands. VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes also feature a volume adjustment lock so that no accidental volume changes occur during use.

VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes can easily be used by left-handed or right-handed users. The handle and operation allow for users to operate the pipette from either orientation. Furthermore, the volume dial on VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes is placed on the palm side of the device so that it is always facing the user. Operators can be aware always of any volume changes.
VWR Ultra High-Performance Pipettes are prepared to fit into almost any protocol or lab space. The high-strength polypropylene used in the pipette body offers excellent chemical resistance and is autoclavable.
