Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is an optimized blend of Hot Start Taq and proofreading polymerase with up to 5 times better fidelity than standard Taq and an increased enzyme activity level. The Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is the perfect choice for GC and AT rich templates, low copy number and long PCR applications.
The 3′-5′ exonuclease activity of the proofreading enzyme of Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase produces fragments suitable for TA cloning. Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is provided with a 5 X buffer with dNTPs or in a convenient one tube 2 X Master Mix.
Ideally suited for problematic templates, Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase combines the superior performance of Benchmark Accuris’s standard Taq with a proofreading polymerase for optimal results with these tricky templates. The resulting complex provides greater yields and better sensitivity for low copy number PCR and longer DNA templates than standard DNA polymerase kits. Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase products have a 3’-dA overhang, suitable for TA cloning. A proprietary 5 X buffer system with PCR enhancers, optimal levels of dNTPs and MgCl2, along with a high ionic strength, has been formulated specifically for the enzyme blend of Benchmark Accuris Taq Plus DNA Polymerase.
