Globe Scientific Culture Tubes
Globe Scientific offers an extensive and high-quality line of culture tubes. The plastic tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP) and the glass tubes are produced from the highest quality borosilicate glass. The polypropylene cell culture tubes are molded from premium grade polypropylene, providing strength to withstand impacts and provide stability against common acids, alkalies, and solvents, preventing corrosion or reactivity within the tubes and giving greater versatility of use. Globe Scientific provides a broad range of culture tube sizes to suit most laboratory applications. Polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 rpm during centrifugation and are fully autoclavable and freezable. The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 rpm during centrifugation. Tubes with dual position snap caps (made from LDPE) can be used for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples - scientists can leave the dual position snap cap in the loose position for aerobic work and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.
Globe Scientific's premium quality borosilicate glass cell culture tubes provide excellent chemical resistance and durability. These tubes are available in six sizes and feature uniform bottoms and fire-polished rims. Tubes are neatly packaged in heavy-duty boxes of 250 and are shrink-wrapped in plastic film to keep them particle free. The special packaging helps prevent breakage during shipment.
