CELLTREAT Non-Treated Suspension Flasks – Specifically Designed for Cell Culture
These non-treated suspension flasks from CELLTREAT are specifically designed for suspension cell cultures. The hydrophobic surface does not facilitate cell attachment and is manufactured from medical grade USP Class VI virgin polystyrene. While it is possible to use regularly treated flasks for suspension cell culture, it depends on the cells used whether the cells will attach to the surface or remain in suspension. If cells adhere to the surface this will likely affect your results. Therefore, it is recommended to use suspension flasks for suspension cell cultures.
These CELLTREAT non-treated suspension flasks are ideal for any lab working with suspension cell cultures. They are available in a variety of sizes, they come with a 0.22 μm hydrophobic membrane vent cap to allow gas exchange and have a canted neck design for easy access to the content of the flask. Check out the primary features and benefits of these non-treated suspension flasks below.
