CELLTREAT Permeable Cell Culture Inserts center in plate wells, preventing the membranes from touching the sides and wicking between the insert and the side of the plate well walls. The membranes of the CELLTREAT Permeable Cell Culture Inserts remain suspended above the plate well bottoms, allowing co-culture to occur i.e. you can grow one cell line inside of the insert and the other below in the plate well. CELLTREAT Permeable Cell Culture Inserts are ideal for drug transfer assays, transport studies, migration assays and cell to cell interaction studies.
CELLTREAT Permeable Cell Culture Inserts have a 4 µm pore size that is ideal for co-culture and drug transport studies. The 0 µm and 8.0 µm pore sizes are ideal for angiogenesis and chemotaxis experiments.
