WHEATON® ACT® High Performance Jaw Set, 13 mm, Flip Cap

This 13 mm flip cap crimper jaw set is designed for use with the WHEATON® ACT® High Performance Crimping Tool. As part of WHEATON® interchangeable jaw system, it allows laboratories to use a single crimping tool across multiple vial sizes - simply swap the jaw set rather than purchasing separate dedicated crimpers. The 13 mm jaw fits standard laboratory vial seals with aluminum or two-part aluminum/steel caps, making it well suited for common sample storage, diagnostic and pharmaceutical vial sealing applications.

Unlike the standard aluminum seal jaw sets, which crimp one-piece aluminum caps, this jaw set is engineered specifically for flip-off style seals — two-part closures consisting of an aluminum crimp band and a plastic button that flips off to expose the vial stopper for needle access. The jaw geometry is shaped to accommodate the slightly larger profile of the plastic cap component while still delivering a secure, uniform crimp on the aluminum band beneath it.

Please note the Crimping Tool itself is not included.
