Hamilton's 1700 series, Gastight # 1701 Removable Needle (RN) Syringe is designed with small-gauge needles that a perfect for loading the lanes on an electrophoresis gel. Commonly used for multiplex DNA sequencing methodologies. The 1700 series gel loading syringes are available in single, 8-channel, and 12-channel formats to rapidly transfer 1, 8, or 12 samples to sequencing gels or multi-well plates and nylon membranes. The fixed syringes offer 9 mm needle spacing, and the adjustable width syringe goes from 9 – 10.8 mm. A settable volume stop allows for faster, more accurate reloading and excellent reproducibility.
