Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark are reusable media bottles manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. With their superior chemical resistance, these Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark are ideal for storage of reagents, culture media, biological fluids and a variety of other aqueous and nonaqueous solutions.
Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark have a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), which provides temperature resistance that is far superior to that of standard lab glass (or soda lime glass). This increases the range of usable conditions. Hybex glass used to manufacture Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, permitting repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers.
All Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark have permanent white enamel graduations for volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding. All Hybex Media Storage Bottles from Benchmark include a drip-free sealing ring as well as a standard blue polypropylene (GL45) sealing cap to ensure a tight and solid seal. Hybex Benchmark Media Storage Bottles are also available with green, purple, white and yellow caps, or in an assortment pack containing two of each color.
