Sealing Film

Pierceable Sealing Film: Easily retrieve individual well samples without removing or puncturing the sealing film — each well features pre-cut flaps that allow clean manual or robotic pipette tip entry with no risk of adhesive residue contamination. The flaps self-seal after pipette tip removal, making them ideal for short-term storage of precious samples. Boldly printed alignment circles ensure accurate film placement on standard 96-well plates, and each well is individually alphanumerically labeled for quick and precise sample identification.

Transparent Microplate Sealing Film: Transparent Sealing Film protects multiwell microplates from contamination and evaporation, including edge effects. It is easily removable and replaceable, making it ideal for incubation periods and short-term sample storage.
Clear Sealing Film: Clear Sealing Film is optically clear with low auto-fluorescence, making it ideal for qPCR applications. Its pressure-activated adhesive is non-tacky to the touch and forms a strong, secure bond when applied with a sealing paddle or roller. Non-activated areas remain non-tacky, ensuring suitability for use with dry samples.
Black and white film: Black and White Sealing Film is designed for use on the top or bottom of black and white multiwell plates. It easily covers clear-bottom plates to prepare them for top-reading analytical equipment. The black film absorbs stray light and fluorescence to reduce background noise and improve signal clarity, while the white film reflects weak light and fluorescent signals to enhance output readings. Applying black film on top of black plates provides complete protection for light-sensitive samples.
