Rather than having several different meters for every kind of test, one single smart water analysis meter should be able to handle all the testing for a lab. For that reason, OHAUS developed the Starter 3100M pH and Conductivity Meter – it has the advanced software, accuracy, and precision associated with the OHAUS brand, and the versatility to support a wide range of lab applications. The device is equipped with automatic buffer recognition, automatic temperature compensation, and can work with 6 buffer groups or 5 conductivity standards. The software also includes a 99-place memory so that users can quickly and easily recall measurements taken recently.
Every unit is built with an ABS housing for improved durability. A large, backlit LCD display paired with a clear and concise navigation system makes reading values easy and understanding notifications even easier. Users can easily toggle, via one button, through the different measurement modes. A total of 6 mechanical buttons are on the device, the five others are for operation and are clearly labeled with their purpose. Navigation and operation are very simple, and the menu is very easy to understand. A quick reference is included on the module so that users can easily refresh their memory on operation. An included RS232 external port makes it easy for users to connect to a printer or computer for extra data analysis or preparation.
