The Eppendorf Rotor FA-30×2 ID is a high-speed fixed-angle rotor designed for microvolume centrifugation on the Eppendorf SpinPro® refrigerated centrifuges. With 30 positions and a capacity of up to 2 mL, it reaches a maximum speed of 13,500 rpm and a maximum g-force of 20,000 × g. The rotor supports a range of small-volume consumables including 0.2 mL PCR tubes, 0.4–1.5 mL conical reaction vessels, 0.6 mL Microtainers, and 2 mL round-bottom tubes, with adapters available for smaller tube formats.

Built-in RFID identification provides automatic rotor detection, enforces speed limits based on rotor specifications, and tracks cycle usage over the rotor's lifetime. The aerosol-tight design combined with the Eppendorf QuickLock Pro lid lock ensures reliable sample containment, making the rotor well suited for work with biological specimens.

The rotor body is rated for up to 100,000 cycles and the QuickLock Pro lid for 27,000 cycles. Both the rotor body and lid are autoclavable at 121 °C, supporting standard laboratory decontamination protocols.
