Hamilton HxSil C8 5 µm Column, 4.6 x 100 mm

Alkylated silica is widely used for reversed-phase HPLC columns. Hamilton offers two alkylated silica columns: HxSil C18 and HxSil C8. The C8 columns (PN: 79101) are less hydrophobic than the C18 columns and thereby give rise to faster analysis times for those compounds that are strongly retained on a C18 column.
