Filtration Bells
KIMAX Filter Bells are useful for filtrations where it is desirable to collect the filtrate in a crucible, beaker or flask for further work. They may be used with either common chemical funnels or fritted ware and the larger size will accommodate a 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask. The bottom of the flange is ground so that a seal may be made with a piece of ground flat glass (flat glass is not supplied). The tooled hose connection is designed to accept 5/16-inch ID flexible tubing. These filter bells are manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
