Defense from Sharps, Leaks, and Stretching – Security in a Small Red Container
MTC Bio Autoclave and Biohazard bags are made of heavy gauge polypropylene which means that they are highly resistant and can handle large loads of waste. Often hazardous waste is dangerous as a result of sharp waste that can poke through a bag and put the user at risk, but these bags are puncture resistant so that users can worry less about the state of their bags. Furthemore, MTC-Bio designed these with seamless bottoms since often bags are stretched at the bottom and can break at the seams. Overall, these bags are extra safe because they will stretch without breaking and can resist leaks. They can be trusted to reliably hold waste. Even if users or their disposal service need to autoclave waste in order to securely discard it, these bags can handle up to 136C.

MTC-Bio Autoclavable Biohazard Bags are designed with user convenience in mind, along with safety and security. First, the words “Hazardous Waste” and the standardized “Biohazard” symbol are prominently marked so that waste is clearly marked without extra labeling from the user. The units are made to conform to OSHA standards so that scientists can be sure they are safe and that any audits will not find unsafe products in their lab. Second, there is a large, oversized, white marking panel so that users can also label the units as necessary.
