By enabling the use of lighter springs and low-drag seals to reduce the force needed from the operator, the Pipet-Lite allows the operator to find and the zero position prior to aspiration, guaranteeing consistent accuracy and reproducibility.

The Rainin® Pipet-Lite line has another unique characteristic, coming with a built in RFID tag that allows for accurate pipette calibration management. This is the world's first pipette family to be equipped with such technology for calibration and asset management. This optional RFID reader and software are available to generate more advanced calibration tracking. The tag will inform you on:

• When the pipette was last calibrated
• Who does the pipette belong to
