Combination Incubation and Shaking for the Efficient Laboratory
Scientific Industries designed the Genie Temp-Shaker 300 as a solution to the complicated shaking and incubation task. The Genie Temp-Shaker 300 doubles as an orbital shaker and an incubator, but also can be configured to handle complex samples. Design is focused on efficiency and convenience, so that users can quickly reach their samples and can do so from the convenience of their benchtop. Furthermore, the Genie Temp-Shaker 300 features advanced temperature control and accessible loading/unloading design to make sure work can be done easily and effectively. The shaker/incubator is capable of high speed orbital shaking from 35 to 300 RPM, while providing precise temperature control from 28°C to 75°C.
Multiple Configurations for Flexible Application Use The Genie Temp-Shaker 300 is available in 3 different models so users can best select a platform that matches their experimental needs. Users can select a model with a specific platform but can also purchase other platforms as accessories and interchange them depending on application requirements. Scientific Industries designed three different attachment systems:
Universal Ratcheting Clamps
This platform allows users the flexibility of mixing different size and shape vessels on the single platform. Vessels are secured via a set of adjustable bars that can be loosened, moved, and then tightened around the vessel. The Universal Ratcheting Clamps platform grants users the freedom of using a variety of different platforms without the need for various clamps but still having the securing capability not available with the adhering mat.
Flask Clamp Platform
Users can secure a variety of flasks onto this platform via flask clamps. The benefit of this platform is that users can feel comfortable despite using differently sized flasks/vessels, knowing that they are securely attached onto the platform by a clamp.
Adhering Mat
The adhering mat is coated with a patented polymer that can securely hold containers even at 300 RPM. Although it does not feature any clamps, the mat will still prevent any slippage or spillage while allowing users the most flexibility in combining vessels on the same platform. Users can feel comfortable using any combination of plastic or glass bottles, beakers, or flasks on the same platform if they fit onto the platform space. Furthermore, the platform can be easily removed and cleaned with just soap and water as necessary.

All this technology combined means that the Genie Temp-Shaker 100 features precise temperature control ranging from 28 ° C to 75 ° C while also gently shaking at up to 300RPM. Despite the extensive engineering of the internal chamber, the outside of the Genie Temp-Shaker 300 is also designed for maximum convenience.
Scientific Industries designed the shaker/incubator to allow multiple methods of access so that even in tight spaces, users could comfortably perform their experiments. The Genie Temp-Shaker 300 opens in two ways – through the door or via tilting of the chamber cover. The door can be easily flipped open and the chamber cover can be conveniently flipped in any direction by use of the kick stand. Even when open, the Genie Temp-Shaker 300 can maintain the chamber temperature within +/-3 °C. Along with the ability to easily maneuver in various directions, the chamber cover is also super lightweight to reduce any physical stress related to sample loading. Finally, the chamber cover can also be removed if needed for cleaning, expansion, or loading particularly cumbersome samples.
Expandable Technology for Extra Utility
Scientific Industries has also designed a variety of accessories and attachments to expand the functionality of the Genie Temp-Shaker 300. There are a variety of clamps, mats, or platforms available to meet the needs of complex samples. Furthermore, there is an optional stacking tray available to expand the amount of usable space in the Genie Temp-Shaker 300. The stacking tray allows users to have two levels for loading samples rather than just the original platform.
