NEST PCR Scrapers are small plastic scraper devices that measure 70 x 78 mm. NEST PCR Scrapers are blue in color, made from TPE and packaged 1 per pack. NEST PCR Scrapers are used in conjunction with PCR plate sealing film to ensure that the sealing film fits and seals more effectively with the PCR plate. Simply place the PCR plate sealing film on top of the PCR plate, carefully ensuring that all edges are lined up correctly. Then, NEST PCR Scrapers can be used to close the seal of the PCR plate sealing film to the PCR plate by lining it up and placing the scraping edge at one end of the PCR plate, applying downward pressure and drawing the scraper, at a tilted angle, across the top of the PCR plate sealing film and PCR plate. Sealing your PCR plates effectively increases the accuracy of your results by preventing sample loss or evaporation.
