It’s been an interesting period since March 2020 – we scaled rapidly to get supplies onto the benchtop quickly, leveraged our vertically integrated supply chain, and delivered – as fast as global shipping lanes would allow. Just as quickly, we adjusted through the post-pandemic changes to our shared industry and how you do business as a customer.

In that time, we adjusted operations, invested in new technology and infrastructure, and prepared for the long-term. We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, because we’ve struggled like any business along the way. Most importantly – we’re listening – and I encourage you to communicate with me directly if there’s anything that has caused you disruption as we make these investments. We’ll make it right, the first time you ask.

We are committed to making this final investment and transition as smooth as possible for you. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that your orders, warranties, and returns will continue to be processed without interruption. I’m proud that through this, we’ve been able to maintain twelve straight months of calibration turnaround times at under an average of seven days in our two laboratories, increased our certified refurbished equipment inventory and have plans to optimize our entire customer-facing operation. We are working to achieve transparency in our systems so every individual who may engage with you has a clear picture of the relationship you have with our company. I’m confident in our team being able to achieve this as 2024 approaches.

  1. What is happening?
    • We are excited to announce that our company is moving to a new location to better serve you. We will be relocating our headquarters, laboratory, and warehouse to 9477 Waples Street #120, San Diego, CA 92121.
  2. When is the move happening?
    • The move will take place during the period of September 25th through October 6th. Please note that our current locations will be operational until the following dates:

      10360 Sorrento Valley Rd 9477 Waples Street #120
      Last day of laboratory operations is 9/27/2023
      Last day of office operations is 10/31/2023
      First Day of laboratory operations 9/28/2023
      Ship all Calibrations to this location after 9/29/2023
  3. Will there be any disruptions to my orders or services?
    • We are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for our customers. Your orders, warranties, and returns will continue to be processed without interruption.
    • Warehouse transitions have been underway seamlessly for several weeks, and lab operations will continue uninterrupted throughout the move. Any orders which arrive at our old facility will be hand-transferred.
  4. How can I contact you during the move?

  5. Will there be any changes to the pickup and delivery process?
    • If you currently utilize our local pickup and delivery services, there will be a pause until October 2nd. Following this, you can expect no changes, and we will continue to serve you as usual from the new location.
  6. What about shipping?
    • For Pipette.com Product Distribution: Outbound shipping will continue as usual. Please be aware that there might be minor delays during the move, but we will do our best to minimize any impact on your orders. Please rest assured your order shipment is our priority and we are working hard to minimize disruption.
    • For Pipette.com San Diego Calibration Lab: If you need to send instruments for calibration, please follow the same process as you are accustomed to, directing all items to the new location based on the date of your inbound shipment. We will ensure that your instruments continue to receive excellent turnaround times.
    • For Pipette.com Ohio Calibration Lab: No changes will impact this laboratory, but you can take comfort that this facility is operational as a continuity plan to ensure turnaround time and service capabilities.
  7. Will there be any changes to your website or online services?
    • Our website will remain operational throughout the move. You can continue to place orders, access product information, and contact our support team as usual.
  8. How can I stay updated on the move?
