Nest Scientific Cryogenic Boxes are ideal for easy organization and identification of your samples. Nest Scientific Cryogenic Boxes are made from a sturdy polypropylene base with a transparent polycarbonate cover for easy identification of the internal contents. These cryo boxes have a 10 by 10 configuration for the storage of 0.5 mL, 1.2 mL, 2.0 mL and 4.0 mL tubes and vials. The containment grid is alphanumerically labeled to further ease sample identification and mapping or recording of sample, tube and vial storage.
Nest Scientific Cryogenic Boxes have a temperature range from -196°C to +70°C, making them suitable for use with everything from liquid nitrogen to moderate heating, including - 80°C freezers. All Nest Scientific Cryogenic Boxes include drain holes and air vents in the lid in order to minimize condensation and problems with air or liquid expansion or contraction.
Nest Scientific Cryogenic Boxes are compatible with the majority of cryo vials available on the market today, This versatility means that they can be reused over and over again, and you do not need to get cryo boxes that are specific for the vials you want to store or by that particular manufacturer, and you can chop and change what vials you store in each box and even store multiple different types of vials in one of this cryo boxes at the same time. You can also write on both the lid and base of these cryo boxes in order to mark various boxes of the same color and indicate the contents of each, making it each to find the box you are looking for in a busy - 80°C freezer.
