Hematocrit Centrifuges

The speed of Hematocrit centrifuges ranges from 7000 to 15000 rpm. The Hematocrit centrifuge can hold up to 24 capillary tubes of size 1.2 mm × 75 mm. The Hematocrit tube is filled with anticoagulated whole blood, one end sealed by heat or insertion into a sealing clay and then centrifuged. The centrifuge head contains the cups or shields that cover the rotor and turns on a spindle. The Hematocrit centrifuge is intended to provide laboratory tests for Hematocrit values in the fields of biochemistry, microbic immunity genetics, and blood separation. Hematocrit centrifuges are used for determination of volume fractions of erythrocytes in blood for diagnostic purposes and doping tests and also for separation of micro blood and solutions. It is used for the photometric determination of bilirubin content in neonate blood samples. Hematocrit centrifuge with a tube rotor, can be used for extraction of DNA and RNA.
