OHAUS accuracy and precision is also available in a benchtop pH meter – the Starter 3100 pH Bench Meter combines advanced technology and user convenience at a cost-effective price. Three-point calibration offers higher accuracy and precision as compared to many other pH meters. The device also allows users the option for automatic endpoints or scientists can choose to manually control the endpoint. Either way, users can rest assured that final readings will be from stable. The Starter 3100 pH Bench Meter comes equipped with a 99-measurement library that stores the most recent data collected and users can easily recall measurements to review past data.
OHAUS Starter 3100 pH Bench Meters are constructed from ABS materials and are highly durable. The electrode stand is an adjustable, stand-alone unit that connects to the module, but fits compactly near the device. The whole device, module and stand, has a small footprint and can fit compactly into a small lab space while also allowing the user plenty of flexibility in operation. Meter operation is highly intuitive as the pH meter only has 5 buttons for navigation and operation, each of which is clearly labeled. The large backlit LCD display makes it easy for users to understand what values they are seeing and what operations are being done. The pH meter also includes an RS232 external port to allow connectivity to a computer or a printer.
