Micropipette or Single Channel Pipettes Must be Calibrated Regularly

It is important to calibrate your variable pipette and fixed pipette at least once a year. Depending on what type of work you're doing, you might need have your variable pipette and fixed volume pipette calibrated more often. If you're working with heavy chemicals, those tend to take a toll on your single channel pipettes' accuracy at a quicker rate, leading to a need for more frequent pipette calibration. If you are unsure of how often your micropipettes need to be calibrated, it is advised to check with your QA manager.
