Temperature can be precisely calibrated in 1.0°C increments across an adjustable range of 100°C to 190°C, accommodating different heat seal materials and plate types, while time settings adjust in 0.1-second increments for optimal seal quality without overheating or plate warping. Operation is remarkably straightforward: place the microplate in the open motorized drawer, position the heat seal on top, and press the SEAL button—the drawer automatically closes, the heated sealing platen applies firm, uniform pressure for the precisely programmed duration, and the drawer reopens to present the perfectly sealed plate ready for storage, incubation or thermal cycling.

Engineered for versatility and safety, the AccuSeal™ includes an aluminum adapter for PCR and standard assay plates, while the motorized heated platen automatically adjusts for different plate heights to provide consistent pressure distribution across the entire sealing surface. The platen's special non-stick coating facilitates easy maintenance, and a convenient side access door allows cleaning when necessary. Comprehensive safety features include internal heating elements enclosed within the instrument casing, an internal safety door preventing access to heated areas, and redundant safety switches on the motorized drawer that automatically reverse if a hand or object obstructs closure.
