MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes for centrifugation are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes are supplied sterile, and although they are autoclavable, their polyethylene screw caps are not. MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes and caps may be frozen at temperatures as low as -86°C. The maximum centrifugal force is 12,000 x g for the 15 mL tubes and 15,000 x g for the 50 mL tubes. This refers to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0, using appropriate rotors, cushions and adapters.

MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes - Sterile 15 & 50 mL Polypropylene Conical Tubes
The caps of MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling of your samples. The conical tubes themselves also comprise a frosted marking surface area for easy labeling of the tubes itself too. A version of the MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes features a ‘skirted’ bottom that allows the tube to stand upright without a separate test tube rack for support. Scroll down below for details.
MTC-Bio 15 & 50 mL Conical Tubes are sterile, RNase, DNase, pyrogen and cytotoxin free, and are packaged and supplied as such. These conical tubes are available in both racked and bagged packaging. They are also now available individually wrapped to maintain the sterility of individual tubes after the opening of the initial external packaging. These tubes are designed to be compatible with standard rotors available with most regular centrifuge units.
