Pipette.com offers WHEATON square media bottles manufactured from Lexan Polycarbonate for your everyday laboratory applications. Lexan Polycarbonate resin is known as an amorphous engineering thermoplastic, with outstanding mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal resistance. The Lexan resins utilized by WHEATON make the media bottles, scratch resistant, heat resistant and ensure biocompatibility and optical quality.
WHEATON products are highly durable and made with the Lexan polycarbonate resin that meet stringent FDA and USP requirements. Each lot of media bottles are manufactured in 10K clean rooms to ensure clean manufacturing. The inert nature of the WHEATON media bottles makes it an ideal packaging vessel for solutions or reagents in your lab. In addition, polycarbonate products are supplied gamma irradiated sterilized or as aseptically clean and non-sterile. All products sterile or non-sterile are packaged and produced in a clean room-controlled environment and do not need to be rinsed prior to first use to save you time. Also, WHEATON Lexan polycarbonate square media bottles are a safer alternative to glass, and less likely to break and shatter.
