Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller
The Heathrow Scientific Rota-Filler 3000 (RF3000) Pipette Controller features comfort and accuracy controlled by adjustable valves and a microprocessor. The Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller can be recharged and features up to 20 hours of continuous use off of one charge. The design is UV resistant and is compatible with right or left-handed users.
Intuitive and Comfortable Operation
The Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller has a universal grip for easy handling. The triggers on the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller feature a soft coat for ergonomic aspirating and dispensing with labels for intuitive usage. The direction indicators and button design allow left-handed or right-handed users to quickly and easily operate the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller. The design is balanced to fit comfortably in a hand and can do so in a left or right hand.
There are three bright LEDs included on the device. These indicate which of the operation modes are currently in use – high, low, or gravity. Operation modes on the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller can be toggled by a large mode button which will cycle through the operation modes per button press. The nose cone on the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller has the capability to have an adapter fitted so that small volume and thinner pipettes can be used without stability issues. The special adapter further secures oddly shaped pipettes.
Electronic and Hardware Advancements
The Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller is usable with 100-240 volt electrical supplies so that it can be used worldwide. The long-life li-ion battery can be recharged and used wirelessly. It features a quick charge ability and when fully charged can be used for up to 20 hours of continuous use.
The housing for the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller is UV resistant for use in sterile environments and every controller comes with five differently colored nose cones so that they can be coded per department, task, or user. The low battery indicator lets users know when the Heathrow Scientific RF3000 Pipette Controller needs to be recharged and the device can still be used when plugged in for recharging.
